2002 200 vmax hpdi

When I turn the motor on there is NO beep from the engine, just the lights on the dash for overheat and oil light up for a sec. I just got this boat not too long ago and there was never a beep so I'm not sure if there should be or not. Can anyone let me know. Thanks

I have the exact year of motor , all is well

beeps on double key switches only

Thanks for all the help. That eases my mind. Had bad luck with a motor in the past and I want to make sure that wasn't indicating a problem.
