Man that place is great, I went there to escape Gustav. Awsome lake, lots of timber and huge BASS!!!!I think lake record right now is about 13#

Beautiful place man, just drive slow as you are going to the only launch on the lake... lots of loose pea gravel.... but awsome launch.

LOTS of stumps and you will do very little if any running.

But that is a fine lake fished it once and it is fine. i like okissa better myself.

This lake was made for fishing and hunting. Any jet skies ect. can't get onto the lake till 10:00 am and have to be off the lake by 2:00 pm.![]()

thanks cooney, but i had no intentions of strecthing any thing out. just wanted to know if i needed to idle everywhere are i could get on plane. how about the fishing vs okissa?

There's soc a lait and bream in there the size of a licence plate. also good for catfish. They want you to keep all small bass to eat, they're trying to make this a trophy lake.![]()

Okhissa is slow, but if you can find em offshore, c-rig or shaky will do good. Calling Panther is very good now for bass, don't know about anything else, don't try to catch them. Like I said earlier, can't run there. Fine fishing though. del![]()
