Hey guys, we have a T coming up on Sat. at Concordia. Where are some good areas my fishin buddie and I need to concentrate on? What are some key lures to throw? Since I work at BPS now, should I throw some of those Luck E Strike swimbaits, or is the water to stained?

The trees at the north end is great with a jig.. Lots of grass close to peers, rat-l-traps will get you in the fish. Concordia is full of HUGE bass, but they are not easy to catch. there have been around 30lb sacks come off there.
What Dawg says and I,ve had some luck throwing Senkos up under those piers and docks,cypress trees. Good luck.

This time of year, I'd have to go with crawfish traps and watermellon/red senkos.

White spinnerbait, big No. 5 willow leaf, silver. White Grub trailer. Cypress trees and hit the banks. Trust me. South end, side away from the launch.
With the weather forecast like it's supposed to be, they will be there.
Are you fishing the Media Bass tourney, or a club tourney? If it's a club tourney, you may want to launch extra early, as I think there is a media bass trail tourney that day...
THE PICAYUNE BASS CLUB IS FISHING A 2 DAY TOURNEY UP THERE AS WELL THIS WEEKEND. I KNOW LAST WEEKEND MY BUDDY FISHES WITH THE FALSE RIVER CLUB CAUGHT A 7-4 AND THEY HAD A 4-3 CAUGHT BOTH ON JIGS AT THE SOUTH END IN 5 FOOT OF WATER.
thanks, we are fishing a club tourney. now that you told me of that other tourney, i hope we can get a cabin for friday night, but if not, i'll let my buddy know where to go. should i also give those new bass magic swimbaits a try that bass pro carries? and how about the uncle josh pork trailers for jigs?

HOW YALL DO. WE WERE THERE THIS WEEKEND FOR A BATCHULER PARTY. GOT 7 SAT. AND 5 SUN. THE BIGGEST WAS 3.5 LBS.
I am fishing there Thursday afternoon and maybe Friday. I have a camper at Lakeview Landing. My boat is a Green/Silver 519 Ranger/225 OPTI. If you come over Friday evening I will let you know what I did and give somes tips on the lake. I should have a LG&F map. Not very detailed but gives general details. My Terry camper is the first on the north side lots of the landing by the road. Jigs and suspending Rogue type cranks should be good. North end will hold good fish but don't overlook mid lake piers.
