Remote Trim Switch?

How do I hook up a remote trim switch to my yamaha? I've got a 703 controller, is there a connection for it in the controller? Or do I have to open it up and splice into the trim wires?

got a ranger with a yamaha on it has trim up or down in the bow .installed one on steering wheel and hooked into wires under dash .should be a blue and a green wire.blue is up green is down if i remember correctly.hope this helps

I know blue sky, and green ground on any trim system. I am wondering where the easiest place to tap into these wires is? I'm guessing its in the control box, but I didn't know if there was already a plug on the motor for this??

You will have to open it up and splice into your wiring harness.
