hey mike I don't like the way them bottom eyes stick way out there. Th bottom one is a 12 I prefer to go with a 10 like I got for the others.

Looks like an off-shore vertical jigging rod.... Maybe you could make a bass model and call it the Table Rock Special.... Hook me up with a % of the proceeds please!

Its too early for me to be three sheets to the wind, so those eyes must be crooked because I know I'm not.

I am sure someone else is in the know better than I am, but I think that if you use the double footed guides you will have some issues when the blank flexes with that type of guide system. I believe the single footed guides are the way to go. It will also cut down on the overall weight of the rod too. Also, aren't the guides supposed to go 12, 2, 3, 4, 6? I believe that will keep them from contacting the blank. Like I said, I am no expert but I am sure someone on here can help. Keep up the good work!

Using the factory guides that is what you will have to deal with. The next one you build with the guides I put together for you will not be like that and alot closer to the blank. All you can do is make it like that and just get use to it..... possibly put one of the small one footers I sent with you on the side but other then that..
