I just got a letter from Lon saying Cabelas backed out of their sponsorship for this year and they are cancelling the 2009 Tx. I wonder if it is the economy that brought this on or something else.

From what i heard last year is Cabela's is not going to have their own annual owners tournament. i guess it is getting hard all over.

Yep, dead serious. I got the letter today. I am guessing you should get one soon as well. It is addressed to all passed participants I believe. It says after the holidays they will try to line up another sponsor but that sure doesn't give them a lot of time. I hope they can find someone because I kind of enjoy the event.

Yea, I got the letter too. It was a good time but you gotta admit there are a lot better causes out there.
