HPDI Oil Pump

I took mine in last week and got back home to find I had the wrong pump installed. I'm not sure if this wrong pump was in the right box or what the deal was. I do know the only reason I knew it was wrong or at least knew to check it was from reading the previous post THANKS GUYS!!!! My original punp was #60v12 and was replaced with #60v03 it should have been #60v13 I called Yamaha today and was told to take it back....ASAP! Best thing about this deal, I haven't run the engine since the replacement Just a heads up guys, you might want to check um!!!!!

WOW, how often does something get "fixed" and nobody ever checks out if the "fix" is correct? You did great! I doubt I would have checked. Lesson learned.

i checked mine when i got installed, to make sure it was right one for my engine, im the first one at my dealership( i think had mine replaced back in april) to get it cause they knew nothin about it and couldnt find anything on it , but thanks to you guys at BBC, i stayed on top of it and finally after 2 weeks of pressure at dealer , owner found somthin on it, but where skeeter didnt have it as a recall for SEVERAL months it was diffcult for them to find anything on cause of not havin any to come in with issues with oil pump issues...not a bad idea though guys , just check the part # , which is visable at end of bracket arm, make sure they put the right one called for your engine, several post made on this board datin back sometime ago on correct oil pump part # for differant engines..
