Man the SEC fans can come up with great excuses why their teams lost. Not saying that its not a great conference but they act like they own college football. Alabama will screw up, Georgia will not recover, Florida will win out, LSU still a great team, and the rest are sub par teams. That's what I don't get. The SEC has 2 great teams: LSU and Florida then they have two good teams Georgia and Alabama.
They are no better than the Big 12, now right now I think bama does deserve to be number one since they beat two top 10 teams. One of those teams Georgia barely beat the first two unranked opponents so to me that shows the Dawgs aren't all they are cracked up to be. I think OU right now could run the table in the SEC and I am NOT an OU fan. Sam Bradford is hands down the best QB in the game right now and their offense can score at will.
College football does have a funny way of making people eat their words though. I would love to see the Big 12 Champ play the SEC champ this year for the title since they are without a doubt the two best conferences in the Nation.
but ask this...................just who has Georgia really played?.............answer.................no one ranked in the TOP 25 other than Bamma.............so where does that leave Bamma?.................Ranked #2 against a very good OKU team this year.
they were all talky talky abou Pete Carol & USC and who there loss shouldnt effect them as badly now that a few ranked teams have lost games this weekend.....................SO WHAT..............the BCS dont come out till mid October and then we'll see where everyone at........then from there its all uphill to keep yourslef #1 or #2 in the BCS rankings.
Other than that...............Bamma still has 2 teams they need to beat yet...............LSU & Auburn. Other than that......I doubt anyone else will be playing for the SEC championship other than Florida..................who still might not even play now
but hey............Vanderbuilt is still undefeated
Whats there to argue here? I believe it will come down to a Big 12/SEC Championship in the end. It should be a much better game than we've had in the last couple of years as far as quality of play from both teams. I'm looking forward to see how it all unfolds. Match the best from both conferences together and its gonna be good.
