Down on Lake O yesterday and the jerkbait bite was great. Deep Divers on most points was producing some good numbers. Did the best on a redeye later in the day. Water was running 47 in some spots but alot cooler up the river. The dead shad were everywhere. Now with the cold weather I quess things will slow down again.
Thats just crazy how The Ozarks can be 47 degrees and we're still just above freezing here

Hey Jack, I won't be don't this next weekend. My partner fished for two days this weekend with one jig bite. He said it sucked! I am curious though about this post just to see that someone caught some fish this weekend!
No I am not fishing the heartland this weekend...wish I had the time. Me and my brother went down there to break in my new boat. Most of the warmer water we found was around the Proctor area...caught alot of them in there off the old road bed. and also found a good amount over mainlake brush piles in about 25 foot of water.
You guys could of cashed a check this weekend......I have heard it is tough as nails down there right now!
Yep...we put in up ar the dam and putted our way doe breaking in the motor. Was a pretty day and we just keep going.

We'll be there thursday morning and on Saturday morning freezing our butts off. Weather says 12 degees for a low on friday night.
