    Lake Guntersville, AL Bass

I promised you guys a pic of the fish I got caught G'ville last week, so here it is. Caught him on a Trophy Series Scum Frog in the grass. I love the rat bite on G'ville!!

I'm tired after driving 3,254.0 miles in 12 days, and the dang alarm will ring at 0445, so I'm signing off until tomorrow. C y'all then.

Thanks sclark - I had a GREAT time! Can't wait to move down there full-time, which will happen some time in 2009, Lord willing! It gets harder to come back every time we visit our Sweet Home Alabama. Can you say -- no more freakin'
    Kansas winds
    ???

BTW - that fish was caught about 5 miles as the crow flies from the house!

My Sister lives in Huntsville Al.

Nice place to visit most of the year, but i swear i'll never go back there in July or August. The heat is sweltering, can't breath because of the humidity and the yellow pollen was like a thick dust on everything ...

Hope Guntersville is better... good luck on the move !

(BTW: my retirement dream is to move to east texas)

    Steve,

10-4 on the humidity, but the pollen is MUCH worse in the spring (April/May). Our place is actually about 30 miles north of Guntersville, just across the lake from Scottsboro up on Sand Mountain (due east of Huntsville).

Any part of Texas was out for me - same @#$%ing wind as Kansas. I've had several lifetimes of it and ain't gonna tolerate it when I retire.
