    Sun Glasses

There's a sun glass thread in the lounge and I know there have been several over the years. My question isn't which brand, rather what you are willing to pay for a pair that you use for fishing only. Realize that during one season I lost 2 pair of Solar Bats and a pair of Oakley M frames Currently I'm using a polarized pair that I got from a sponsor's website. So, while I have historically spent over $100 on fishing glasses I'm not seeing much difference in those versus the ones I have that are listed for about $40. Your thoughts

I've got a pair of Oakley wires that are polarized. I got those because we had 150 vision insurance and these were 155.

    Sounds pretty smart to me

I've got a pair of costa del mar wave killers. cost me about a 100 bucks 7 years ago. Great glasses, lightweight and hardly notice they are on. The big diff I see is fit and lens quality.

Well I have a pair of Bolle's because they help out the fishing team. I like the glasses and I have worn them about a year now and haven't got a single scratch in the lens which is more than I can say for my old Oakley's. I wish they had some amber lenses available though.

Thats a plus. I liked my M frames for those reasons.

Costa Del Mars. Have about 6 different pairs with different lens colors and either polycarbonate or glass mirror lenses. My favorites are the the Fathoms with blue mirror lenses. I think they are like $170 or there abouts. The Swordfish and Filament models are nice, too. It's nice to have a lens color for every condition.
