I was out there last fall for the first time. It is a really nice little lake. It looked like they have a nice swiming area with facilities and lots of shade. I didn't catch many fish but they say it is a good fishing lake. The ramp area is pretty small and not much parking. Hope that helps.

It is a nice little lake....plenty of fish on the damn and there are some docks in one arm of the lake that produces quite a few fish. Just stick with your basic lure choices (spinnerbait, jig, worm, tube) and you will be okay. The point right were you launch is really deep, 25ft, and it has some shallow grass to the north that usually holds some fish. Water color has always been very good. Best of luck!! There are plenty of 2lb to 3 lb fish in this little lake.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that they don't allow fishing anymore on Lonestar... I could be wrong though, not 100% sure.
