I just picked up some of this stuff because I heard its the best out there....can you mix oils without problems? Or do I have to drain the oil that currenty in the tank?

I run the HPInjector oil from Amsoil too.... Just run down your oil as far as you can before you make the switch. That will let you see the difference. I drained all of my oil out from the "trash catch" in the bottom of my tank on the motor. I used the yamalube for my snow blower,weed whip,blower,etc... But I think you can just mix them if you dont want to drain the other oil out. It'll take a few tanks of gas to start seeing the difference of the motor burning cleaner.
