    south barkley sun

Took my stepdad fishing today and put in at linton, man the water is low.left the dock straight out then after making the right the flat to the right shad were busting the surface.picked up a few small ones and then left for fords bay.caught a couple on the back very shallow.ended up the day south of linton just north of the tenn
line and man there was shad everywhere.ended up with about 20 in the boat and 7
would be keepers.2 1/2 pound being the biggest but the weather was nice.
but i do want to remind you to be very carefull as the water is way down.

    Re: south barkley sun (bullet65)

I've only been on the lakes 1 time when the water is this far down and didn't have a comparison at that time b/c I had never really seen em full. They look way different that is for sure and will give you more respect for staying in the channel when you see some of the stuff I saw this weekend. I was amazed what those East side bays South of Kuttawa looked like now vs. full pool.

one of the good things about being on the water when it is this far down is you can
    see all the exposed cover.
