    Barren River ramps closed!

We drove down this morning and couldn't find a place to launch. On the way back we heard on a Glasgow radio station that Baileys point was open but very limited parking. We didn't drive down to that one. The water looks clear on the main lake but it looks like a jungle with all the floating trees.

Man all of these lakes are a mess, and will be for quite a while. A guy I work with lives in campbellsville and said he went down to take a look at green. So he said, the pavilion at ramp 1 is completely under water and the water was just starting onto the roof on the pavilion at Lone Valley. The campground in robinson creek is gone(his words ). On Nolin the little booth where you pay your ramp fee at wax has about 2 ft of water on it. Although they have started letting some water out of green I noticed. Hell John Belski said last night we could have another flooding rain next week too.

If you wanna hit nolin you can put in at Moutardier Boat Ramp. The ramp is still easy acess and plenty of parking. We went today for a while, around ponderosa (coming from moutardier) is where the floaters and mud start. But there is still decent water(for now) towards the dam.

Was out at Bailey's on Barren Thursday night to look at it. People were launching but only 1 boat at a time b/c they were launching from the road leading to the ramp.
