Laurel Lake - Where to stay? Would like to be close to Holly Bay Marina

Coming out of Holly Bay Marina

Where to stay nearby that's cheap and decent?

So far we've checked with the Knights Inn about 10 miles away...$50 a night - is it a dump?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have stayed at the Hampton in London, definitely not a dump. There are plenty of motels in the area, both London & Corbin. K. I. would not make my list after reading the reviews......

just be leery of pungent odors in those rooms, never know when they may be cookin in the room next to ya down there

If you smell a strong ammonia odor.....grab ya chit and go.....it prolly ain't pee DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN YER BOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay off of Exit 38 in London. There are several places to stay that are just right off the exit. A Hampton, Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express and a few others I cant remember at the moment.
