12/14/08 Another 20+ day on Dale Hollow

Fished with my future Marine stepson Ryan and my future son in law Shawn today. We managed 22 Smallies in the boat with several over 4 lbs but none over 5. All the fish were caught on 3/4 oz jigs in 15-30 foot of water. Most were on steeper banks near channels but we did manage a few in the backs of creeks. Noticed the water around East Fork was black today. 25+ mph winds made it rough and we drained the TM batteries by 3:30 pm but had fun anyway.

Sounds like another awesome day! Hopefully they will stabilize and bite good on most days. Really been hit or miss for me. You try the float n' fly yet? I've caught one or two each trip on it but never stick with it enough. I wonder if the water coming up has made the bite better?
