    My Departure

Well kids, the army has found other uses for me. a couple of days after Christmas, i'll be on my way to Arizona for 4 months for school, then headed directly to Ft. Bragg, NC for a few years. i see a big 82nd Airborne patch in my near future.

I'd like to send a huge thank you out to Russ, Todd, And David along with everyone else at C&O marine. those guys are without a doubt the best in the business. Gary is a mechanical magician. I thank you guys for having me on the staff as well as everything you have done for me and my family. Russ, i will always have a spare bag of "Be-back dust" in my pocket, in the event of emergency. (no, that is not a refference to narcotics). Jason and Duane, i hate to leave the big three, you guys made the boat shows more fun than they ever should have been.

I have absolutely loved my time in here in the Ky-Tn area. i have made some lifelong friends, and have even learned to tolerate Trent. i'm looking forward to the challenges ahead as well as the opportunity to learn some crankbait skills from the legendary North Carolina masters. If any of you guys ever make it out that way, give me a holler and we'll hitch up the little red stratos and hit the water, or hit the golf course (Roddy!!!!!)

by the way, here's a recent picture of my little flippin stick. his name is Keagan, but i call him hondo. he's cheering for his favorite team.

Good luck Clint. I know you will excel at anything that you are faced with. Duane and I will definitely be missing you at the shows this year. You taught me more than you can imagine (not necessarily about boats ). I'd love to try and get together with you before you head out and if I'm up the Ft. Bragg way, I'll definitely look you up.

We can't make it without you....you've been a very valuable asset for us here........so with that being said, looks like Hondo will have to stay in your place!

You'll always have a home here!

You can refresh the eighty douche guys for me at Bragg......RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!

Good luck, I hear that is a great area. We'll hit the links if I make it over that way or if you make it back this way.

Thanks for all of your kind words. Strangely, although Texas is home, this area has become a 2nd home. i can see us coming back here on long weekends to visit friends.

Onward and Upward Clint!! Gonna miss you around here on the big lakes. Gotta say I don't miss those days of having to pack up and move on but the friends you make along the way will last a lifetime. The 82nd is a fine organization and I am sure you will leave some good footprints there for future generations to follow...

Hey Clint! Julie & I second the motion from Todd on Hondo!!
Russ said his posting is messed up but said to tell you thanks for the ride on the bird WITH the cheerleaders. He will have you a fresh supply of be-back-dust when you make it back. Gary is standing here now and said tell you thanks, it's nice to be appreciated. Good luck with all that you do wherever you go and come back for a visit and the cooler is always full if you ever decide to hit it. Hondo is adorable and certainly a carbon copy. And thank you for all of your patience and help thru my learning experiences here at C&O!!!
