There is an open team tournament at Geist in Indianapolis on Monday. The entry fee is $35 and the hours are 4am to 10:45 am. That way you recoup some of your launch fee and are off before it gets overly crowded. I will be there.

That's a good idea to run the tournament during that time frame. I would go, but don't want to have to drive through Indy on the Memorial Day weekend to get to Geist.Plus I don't like having to get another loan on my boat to launch and take it out!
Don't they still charge to launch plus to take the boat out there?

Of course I talk to myself...sometimes I need expert advice.
The fishing was awesome today. There were 63 boats in the tournament today and probably had close to 30-35 limits weighed in. My partner and I had 4 limits of our own. Our 5 biggest weighed 16.57 with a 4.88 pounder as our biggest. We ended up with 2nd BB and 4th overall. It took almost 14 pounds to get a check and BB was 5.99. We caught around 35 fish after 6 am with most of all of them coming on either topwater or Senko. That was the best day of fishing I ever had. All of our fisf came within a 100 yard stretch. The launch fee was only $10.
