    Not fishin but...

Anyone out there like to deer hunt? You know I am in this cycle, bass fishing starts right after deer season and continutes up till about mid sept. then rolls right back into deer hunting. I love life!! Always something to look forward to, especially with the timing. This time of year, doys days, it starts wearin on you out on the lake and I actually get a little burnt out to some extent, ahh but deer season comes rejuvenates me and I am back in action. Then that starts to drag around Dec., but wait its back to fishin! I know I should be fishin' in the fall (oct. & Nov.) and if I am lucky I usually am, but if that ole mossy antler isn't tagged otu yet, I am still waiting on him, so I can go fish. Now if I keep on this cycle without getting a divorce, life would be sweet.

I used to Bow hunt for deer but it just got to expensive with what I wanted to put into fishing and trying to do other hobbies. I finally had to stick with one hobby and that was it. After buying a new boat and upgrading all my rods and reels there just isn't enough money left for new bow equipment.

I'm right there with you Eric Hunting to Fishing and then Fishing to Hunting. Its tough in the fall because fishing bite really picks up and the start of bow season over lap.

One thing is for sure I have less and less time to do both as my kids get older and I am certainly doing less of both but that's OK the kids are worth it.

I had the fortune of drawling a tag for a Elk and Mule Deer hunt this fall in Montana . Definitely a trip of a lifetime but kind of cut into my fishing and hunting funds for the year.

I love to bow hunt but it takes a lot of time to be good at... I seem to be a lttle better with a trigger, since the 7mm seems to reach out and touch em a little quicker.

Sticks has spoiled me over the last two seasons with inviting me to his family farm. I have set in the same stand both times and was out of the woods by 10am first morning.

Deer huntin' is for people that can't catch these in the winter!

Just kiddin', I love to deer hunt but the lack of a consistent place to hunt has driven me to do more fishing. I'd love to have a farm to hunt on but that takes more $$$$ than I've got.

    Daniel in the perfect world,

My ideal property would have roughly 100acres. 50 acres of woods and a 50 acre lake .

I stopped hunting when I left Wyoming, and now I can't hunt, ever try to sight with bifocals can you say blind ol man how would you like to meet me in the woods Used to be a dam good shot to...but no way with bifocals...so my collection of guns sits and collects dust.
