    Storm Damage

I just got through watching the Bowling Green news and they were showing some pictures of the tornado damage that went through Western KY (Madinsoville I think). One picture that caught my attention was a Triton, there was a red TR21 with a Mercury on the back sitting there with 2x4s and debris piled all around it. The house/ garage or whatever was in a pile. They had some injuries to some people in Western KY but no deaths have been reported so far

So far no deaths reported here in Madisonville. 40 injured and 20 to 30 homes substantially damaged or destroyed.

The news up here is reporting one death in KY from last nights storms. Thank goodness it dwindled down and dispersed.

    Checking In

Just got my cable back and thought I would check in before I head up the street to see how I can help out. We had a tornado that hit my neighborhood here yesterday afternoon. One person was killed and several were injured. Lots of damage to homes and the Moor's Marina was basically destroyed. We were lucky here at the house...no damage and Becky and I are fine. The tornado missed us by about 1/4 mile. Luckily she was held over at the hospital where she works to assist in moving patients to a safe area or she would have been in her car on her way home when the tornado hit and most likely would have been in a bad situation as she normally comes right by where the tornado hit about the same time that it came through.

Glad to hear you doing ok! My parents use to live a mile from Johnson Creek. Sorry to hear about the Moor's and your neighbors. Prayers for the people who were less fortunate

    Re: Checking In (Boss445)

My boss's house is just around the corner from Moors. I have no idea if any of the houses in the area where damaged. It's a good thing no one was in the campers at Moors, they where destroyed. There were tornadoes just to the north and south of Murray yesterday. Strange weather for November for sure. From the amount of destruction, I'm thankful more people weren't injured or killed.

I talked to my family that lives south of Madisonville last night and they had no major damage but said that parts of Madisonville was hit pretty hard. Yeah, that wasn't my Triton mine is in the barn up here in Indiana.

    Re: Checking In (TR21Bassin)

I just heard at least one person was found in the lake from the storm and they are looking for more. If It had hit during camping season it would have been even worse.
