Is the NEW lower unit (magnum xp)out and installed on the 06 etec 225 ho motors?
I know Rusty can't comment but,does anyone have ANY inside scoop as to the 250ho yet?I'm trying to hold off on ordering a new boat til I know one way or the other.If I can't get any info I may have to go with someone elses 250.
The 2006 models are shipping with the same lower units the 2005 models had. THESE ARE GOOD LOWER UNITS. Do not expect anything over the current 225HO and 250 until all the other sizes of E-TEC motors are being produced. I would not expect a 250HO+ until next fall at the earliest.
There is no need to wait. Go ahead and purchase a 225HO.
