    LED Back up lights

I am looking for either some LED Back up lights to mount on my truck bumper or my basscat trailer. Right now I have 2 additional back up lights on my truck bumper and 2 lights on my basscat trailer. However due to this I am pulling to many amp's and about every 4 months need to replace a blown fuse on truck.

Does anyone have any good ideas???

I need the additonal lights as here in AR most of the ramps do not have enough light to back down early in the AM

    Ron,

Here you go - http://www.americansuperlite.com/back-up-lamps.cfm. Be forewarned - they are NOT inexpensive.

Sure Ron. They are sealed for use on over the road trucks in all sorts of weather so they will work fine on a boat trailer. Matter of fact, I have a couple of regular oval amber lights on my trailer to illuminate the words "Triton" in front of the wheels that I bought at the local auto parts store.

BTW - how are you doing these days? Haven't seen you since the IBBT in 2006.

Have been good, hope they have a IBBT again someday, like to see the group again.

I installed these on my trailer. Not a spread of light, but it does help.

I put 2 - 20" white Bluewater LED strips on my trailer. It casts enough light to see where you're going.

Re: LED Back up lights (shfishinsticks)

I also put 2, 20" Bluewater LED strips under the step behind the fender. It helps me see where my wheels are going...which helps immensely at night. I do like having the backup lights on the back of the trailer, even though they don't give me much light to see with. I now know that if I'm backing up (in a parking lot or wherever) it won't be a surprise to any other drivers. I feel much more responsible and definitely safer.
