Real actual snort/wheeez....It all started with a buck being run by some hunt clubs dog. So I didn't shoot him and then I went walking with gun in hand. Get to my ladder stand and low and behold there is a buck chasing a doe. She is darting around in some real thick stuff and I can only hear them. He was grunting and crashing through the woods heavy. I couldn't wait to get him out in the open. So I decided to be the other buck and grunt semi hard at both of them. The doe came almost out in the open saw a flash of her, and he just stopped and snort/wheezed at me. It was not as loud as you would think. He did it like 4 times, so I did it back and he was raking trees but just wouldn't come in. I grunted again and he just stood perfectly still while I did the same.
What would you do to get him off a hot doe with only 40mins shooting light left?

Ive only heard the snort wheez a few times , but Ive never actually saw the buck do it !!!!!!!
