    Engine mounting bolt torque

I noticed that I can turn the 4 engine mount bolts on the transom. There is no gap and the engine appears to be tight to transom, but.. is there a specific torque they need to be set too?

UPDATE: I used that search feature thingy and found 50lbs of torque to be the common response. If different please chime in..

I remember it being 80lbs on a Ranger transom.

When attaching to fiberglass transom, torque is to be the GREATER of:

    -50 ft. lbs MINIMUM
-Boat Manufacturer's recommended torque (consult with Ranger in this case via email or phone)
