    draining power trim fluid?

The fluid on my trim is milky looking. I suspect there is water in the fluid. Can anyone tell me how to drain all the fluid from my optimax? I looked in the manual but it only says how to fill not drain...

Re: draining power trim fluid? (corybyrum)

Proper draining requires COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT.

The appropriate way to address this is a complete reseal of the unit (since you would already have the unit completely torn down).

We do offer R&R resealing service (you remove and ship, we reseal and return).
