I have a Skeet Reese spinnerbait glass rod...missing the rubber inset on the tip guide. It's causing the line to rub and fray---any ideas on how to fix it short of buying a new one?

If you don't have the inner ring, it would be easier and wiser to replace the entire tip top guide-don't know where you could get the rubber or ceramic inner ring at separately. You can do it yourself easily by removing and thread wrap around the guide (if there is one), heating slightly to soften glue and pulling it off with pliers, and then take the old tip to a tackle shop for replacement and to get the right size. I build rods, so I always put my tips on myself by heating a glue stick and making sure it is aligned with the rest of the guides. The tip guide is the easiest one to replace.![]()

I fix rods, all you have to do is heat the guide with a lighter get pliers and pull the tip off. get a new tip and put some rod tip glue in it, heat it up and stick back on the rod. it should slide right down to the thread and look like new
Lifetime warranty. take it back and get another one.
