Question about the difference in XS and Pro XS cowlings

I am looking to buy a Tuff-Skinz vented motor cover and cant figure out which cover i need. Can anyone tell me what the 2003 250 XS cowling compares to as far as the Pro XS top cowlings?

(same cowling "footprint" and base mold utilized).

Thanks Don, but I still am not sure which one I need, Here is their list and breakdown by model

    1987-1996 Mercury 150-200 Carb
1997-2011 Mercury 150-250 Carb and EFI (Including XR6)
    1998-2002 Mercury Optimax (200-225 HP)

    2003-2009 Mercury Optimax (200-300 HP)
2003-2006 Mercury 3.0L (200-250 HP) carb and EFI

1999-2003 Mercury 2.5L (200-300 HP) Pro Max Alien Cowling

    1999 - 2011 Mercury 135-175 Optimax

    2005 - 2011 Mercury 175-300 Pro XS
    2006-2011 Mercury 225-300 Verado (add $10.00)
    1998-2011Mercury 75-115 HP ELPT

Is the bold one the one I need for a 2003 Racing 250 XS

Yes, the above BOLD listed choice is the only suitable choice (from that list) for your engine's cowling.
