protect travel cover from excess wear while towing

steal the kid next doors basket ball, you know the one he slams up against the garage wall while you are trying to watch bass'n university. Take a sharp Knife and' following the lines' cut about a quarter of the rubber cover out. Now what you got is a Cover that will slip right over your trolling motor prop and cushion your cover thereby extending it's life. Now if I can find someone who can tell me how to tell if my triton trailer oil wheel bearings are full or not. They have been to dark to see a level since day one.

I learned a good trick here at BBC. Wrap your motor cowl with saran wrap so that the cover on the cowl doesn't wear the paint off flapping on the highway.... plus, you can stick a couple of PBJ's in there in case you get hungry on the ride home...

Re: protect travel cover from excess wear while towing (stratos 278DC)

I use a piece of heater hose sliced length ways to cover my tm prop and windshield to protect my cover.
