Made this from fly reel and small piece of Aluminum sheet metal. Clip knocker on clip when needed---also use it when unloading boat at ramp sometimes.

Cool idea. I'm not that familar with fly reels so this is probably a stupid ??? I take it there's a release button that allows the clip to free spool down to the lure?
Reel is spring loaded --pull out line as needed--THEN press the rewind lever and all line is instantly wound up on reel spool. The reel fits completely underneath the seat foot print( not clearly seen in pict.) and is no tripping or tangle hazzard!!!Alos notice the scissors tucked into the cavity between seat and base----they will not come out unless youpull outward and downward ( to clear the rounded uphostered edge) of the seat----don't have to look for them or be stepping all over them.
Also made some retractable rod tie downs that are "out of the way" too.
The following were retreived along with my bait from one brush pile in 16 ft of water
. Knockers are $15.00 for 1 TYD and $24.00 for 2.
