Up grading my 225 efi to 250 pro xs 2008. My boat has a merc smart craft gauge in it but would not work with the efi. It is a small 2 inch square box. First do any of you know if it will work with my motor and if so how can I find how to operate it along with what fuctions it would have.

Your System Monitor should be able to give you the following information (not necessarily all available items listed):
-RPM
-Speed (depending on rigging)
-Volts
-Water Pressure
-Engine Temp
-Engine Hours
-Trim (if digital trim sender installed)
-Fuel Level (if fuel/oil harness installed)
