    restoring 85 bayliner bass boat

well i got the floor installed, thanks for all the advice on it, now im looking for carpet what oz carpet should i go with? Also I tried to run the engine (first time since i bought it) and the starter was very slow to turn the wheel. Does it matter that i used a car battery, or does it need a deep cycle for cranking amp to really get that wheel spining. I hope because a new starter for a 85 force is a couple hundred? any help would be great thanks againg guys

16 or 20oz carpet, either one dont go with less than 16oz, it wont last as long and will rip very easy.
