    Repainting a cowl w/spray cans

Is it possible to get a quality finish when repainting a Engine cowling/pan using the manufactures paint in spray cans?

I think it could be done. If you have a spray can that sprays a decent pattern, half of the battle is won.

I think you'd be able to do a good job with a spray can. Just make sure you take the time to prep the surfaces properly and don't get in a hurry when painting. I personally would do more lighter coats, sanding in between if needed, and then finish off with a coats of a quality clear coat.

Good luck, and show some pictures when you're done!
