    Fiberglass or epoxy over plastic

I am at my witts end. I want to start a resto. project on my 94 nitro 2000dc, but my dash and glovebox are shot. They are made of a plastic and covered with vinyl, the vinyl has tears in it and the plastic undernesth is broken at the spots where it screws into the console. I am thinking of removing the vinyl and laying fiberglass over the plastic and then painting it. I have looked for a new dash and glovebox but am having no luck. Can glass be laid over a plastic?

Sure it can. The molded poly plastic needs to sanded to get some what of a grip, if you are going to leave it. And then it may not adhere to it at all. Once you screw it down, it won't matter!
    Mix that epoxy
