I was wondering bout how much it costs to get any 86 Skeeter Starfire boat to shine again... like i guess i will have to get it re-gelcoated and sanded.....anyone know a rough estimate???

Had a buddy re-gelcoat his 17ft skeeter with red-metallic gelcoat and it cost him around $1800.
Dang...guess ill be doin it myself haha....any suggestions??? Will be first time to do this....
