Loomis NRX+ Ned vs GLX 841s

Looking for something little more finesse than either my NRX/GLX 842s. Curious if anyone has handled both the rods I've mentioned in the title and could compare. I do have NRX+ 902s but that's my go to finesse SB rod the one power would be more specifically 1/8-3/16oz paired with small baitfish shape baits. Thanks in advanced.

Had a NRX+ Ned and sold it if you want to use it for small paddle tails/underpins it would be fine just make sure they are lighter hooks. I used mine(when I had it) for Neds, 4" Senkos Neko rigged(loved it for this), light dropshot with nose hooked baits, and small paddletsils like 1/8 or 3/16 2.8 keitechs. I say use lighter wire hooks above because I remember throwing the tactical mini underspin on it and kept having fish come off one day couldn't hook them on that slightly thicker gauge hook. I have conquest 842S which are pretty powerful in the butt section especially compared to the NRX+ Ned so I definitely think it fishes finesse in comparison.

Why not the NRX+ 901s to go with your 902s? It's an epic rod for little stuff but as mentioned above lighter wire hooks are required for any of the 1 power rods.

Had one just to light hoping the shorter 1 power rods is what I’m looking for plus I have a Flyssa. Might just try the GLX 841s

Since you have a Flyssa, have you tried the P5 Baby Plugging? I picked up the BP last summer and even though it's a F1.5 in Megabass-speak it's not at all whippy and it'll stick a lighter wire hook no problem. It's one of my favorite rods to fish little swimbaits with.

If you get the 841s, I would be interested to hear what you think about it.
