pausing sonar but not LVS...

Searched back and found a thread that described being able to stop sonar ie 2D, but keep LVS running. After adding the GT-54 to the TM and trying it out today, it seems if I pause 2d, then the LVS also pauses. If I un-pause LVS, 2D also un-pauses. I am running a split screen, but also tried it on individual screens, but the same issue occurs. So not sure if I am just doing it wrong, or if recent updates have changed something, or... I'm running an 126sv (not gen2) and LVS-34.

I guess the same question for DI/SI - I didn't even look at those, but I will next time out :)

Pausing or stopping the sonar by pressing the power button affects all sonar sources. There is also a Transmit On/Off selection in the menu of each type of sonar. That gives you control by transducer. The GT54 is a combo transducer so if you turn off 2d in the Traditional menu, it also turns off ClearVu and SideVu. There is not a control for each element of a transducer.

Yeah, I am pressing the "pause" button on the 2D screen, in the lower left - but it also pauses LVS. I'm ok with 2D/DI/SI all pausing, but I would like to pause them but still have LVS available. I will look in the menu for the transmit button, I do recall seeing that in the past - thanks.

Yeah, I would like to pause the traditional transducer when scoping, as it's really loud.

Yeah this is the way - turning of transmit on the individual transducer in the menu works as expected - 2D off, LVS still going - thanks!
