As promised. I blanked. It took 10+ to win. 16 boats, 16 fish to the scales. I am not sure of specifics, how many limits, big bass, etc., as I was talking to some friends that were there just for the weigh in. My belief is that docks and deep water was the key. DUH. I heard that one guy anchored on a point and didn't leave it ALL night. The guys that won I believe had a limit.
On a MUCH brighter note, I did fish earlier in the day with a GOOD friend on the river and we managed one BRUTE of a smallie, 20-21" fat, football lookin thing, and broke off another in a woodpile. We caught several shorts, but the BIG bites were ALL on wood with a little current. GREAT day on the river. The lake sucked though!! (for me and my partner)![]()
Got out today briefly, mainly to shake the cobwebs out. Did not manage anything, but still a good time. Did see some crappie guys having some luck on a open water hump.
From 4p to 6p
Temp 42 degrees
Water Temp 36
Clear & very windy
Nice report Dan!![]()

Aid Temp 50 degrees
Water Temp 38
Clear & windy
Water was stained (as always, its Indiana)
