My boat is in the garage for the winter. We fished the winter circuit at Coffeen a couple years ago, and I just don't care to EVER be that cold again!! Not that I don't like to fish, but my scrawny butt got cold and never did warm up! Lots of good fish to be caught on the hot-water lakes though - Good luck with it!

Does anyone know if there is enough water to launch a boat at coffeen. I have a 17' glass bass boat.
You should be fine. There have been tourny's there every weekend and a few 18ft and glass boats have been dropped in there with no issues. The ramp does get slick though.
