Memorial Day!

Air - 86 degrees
Water - 79 degrees
Partly Cloudy & Calm

Had enough of the pleasure craft at Kincaid so we went to Cedar. Not hardly a soul there. The Super Spook Jr. rocked their world! Partner boated 1 to my 15. He doesn't know how to walk the dog yet! I lost the best fish of the day because I forgot to "Bow To The King" when he jumped! I had another good one break me off. This fish jumped twice while I was lamenting the loss of the spook and gave it back to me!

Where is Cedar lake located at.

Cedar is located a couple of miles south of Carbondale off of old HWY 51. It is a small lake with a 9.9 hp limit. You can use a big motor to launch & load only. I have confirmed this with a CO from IDNR.

Is that for sure about the launch and load? I asked at a seminar at the Marion Boat show 3 DNR guys there and they didn't know
Asked on at the ramp on Memorial day and he said he didn't know??

Went saturday, cold and slow bites but they were biting. Had some good fish on and seen quite a few big fish taken that day, not many small bites though.
