2/24/06 Lake of Egypt, Marion IL

Water Temp: 46 to 50F at the northern end.
Weather: partly sunny with late clouds and winds 10-15mph

I fished in the northern area near pyramid acres launch and threw everything from a Lucky Craft 100 pointer jerkbait, Berkley rattle trap, Senko t-rigged, Dave's custom jig, and didnt get much at all. I talked to about 5 other groups and only 1 had caught a fish. I got a few bites on the jig working it in 6-7ft of water. The fish seemed to be deep and i couldnt find where they were staging at. Hopefully this warm front brings em up.

yeah, i was out there a few days ago and it was way too windy. Water temp on the Cambria side was 42F. I was one of 3 boats out on the whole lake. The bite should be on as soon as the water warms up a little.
