The cold fronts have really shut down the bite so I hear, I will be out there hopefully monday and i will post the results.
Well guys went out this mourning, dodging the rain, and ended up catching 13 all together the biggest was 8.4 the rest were all 2-5 the water has cleaned up a little and the fish are starting to come up but this next cold front will have an impact I think. The mourning bite on top water was really good and after that I was just pitching around cover. Thats about all the info I can give out hope it helps.
Can i get the gps numbers to where the 8.4 was please. lol jk Thanks for the update. What kind of topwater baits, if you dont mind.

Well guys, here is my report. I finished tourney with 5 fish for 10.72...13th place. 18+ won it. 15+ 3rd ect. ect. I caught my fish basically junk fishing. No real pattern at all. Had 2 fish for 3.5lbs at 1:00 and pulled into a canal near Trails End and finished off my limit with a fluke. There were some chunky fish in that canal. Ran out of time. Flipped alot and had only 2 bites that i set the hook on and had them hooked up in the heavy stuff and trolled into get them, and guess what......NOT!! The first one felt decent. Wind picked up late and that was all she wrote. Sorry i couldnt provide more info.

Yeah I heard the fishing has been tough, out there, I havent been out there in awhile sorry nothing turned up for you rodney. But the weather should be perfect this weekend for the big ones.
bite was very slow sunday 3/8/09
even with shiners......i fished from 7am till about 9pm
really nice and calm day to... best weather ive had there in a while...
