Just curious what everyone's favorite Arkansas lake is. I'm kind of partial to DeGray and Ouachita, but I'd love to hear of some other folks faves throughout the state.

My favorite lake in Arkansas is Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri!![]()
If I didn't have to drive over the damn mountain to get to Dardenelle that woudl probably be my choice. Lots to fish there and can be great at time!
its hard to beat dardanelle. If you cant catch 15lbs dont bother showing up no matter what time of the year and alot of the time 15lbs wont do you any good.

Life is made up of years that mean nothing, and moments that mean it all!!!!!!!!
Which is a better lake for a first time visit ouachita or dardanelle?

I'd say Dardanelle is much easier to catch fish on than Ouachita. Just look at the Tx results, the pros werent catching much a couple of weeks ago on Ouachita, but its still taking 15-17lbs to win the 3 hr evening Tx's on DardanelleGood Luck which ever one you go fish.

It's not taking nearly as much to win anymore...10-14 lbs, not many near 20 anymore![]()
It's really slowed down out there lately...
BUT, Dardanelle very nearly won the Big Bass Bonanza![]()
According to Get5bass 17+ won last week, just under 15 got 4th![]()
Maybe it's stepped back up, but for a while it only took around 12 lbs to win![]()
Well the leader for the Elite 50 at dardanelle weighed in on the first day 20-5. Ancored by a 6.12... after being pounded by anglers for the big bass tourney... so that sould tell you something, I think 12 place is around 13 lbs... my vote just goes for the whole Arkansas River, love fishing the river system!
