Well didnt get out there early enough, around 6:45. Started working grass lines that ended in 7.4ft with 10" worm. Secong stop managed one over 6 and a 4+ in 15 minutes. Then moved on and worked about half dozen other humps with no takers. Then about 9:30 the jet ski Navy got out so I left. Seems the better fish have been on the edge of breaks were the grass stops in 7ft. Some places on Wheeler the milfoil is about to top out and other areas it is struggling in the shallows but doing real well in 6ft. No top water bite so far this year. I am having a love/hate relationship with the Zellpop. I love the looks of it but the fish sem to hate the way I am fishing it

Glad to hear somebody is fish the flats. Hell I never get to go anymore.

You have got to love the Zell-Pop. It has been one of the top producers in my boat this year, especially on Guntersville. I have got one that has landed over 400 fish. It looks rough but it is almost a mission to see how much of the finish I can get chewed off, LOL.

The key has been to work it very fast with short pops. It is almost coming back as fast as a buzzbait. Hope this helps.
