    Biffle Hardhead???

Is there a way to make something like this? I really like this idea but I think the price is way to high, $5 for a two pack. I know there has to be a way to make this for way less. Any ideas?

Something like these? I like these better as you dont tie to the weight... Works great.

yes those look great do they have the same action as the Hardhead's and is there a way to make the weights with 2 eyelets. Almost a 90 degree bend in them?

You tie to the split ring and I think it has better action than the biffle head...

This will do what you want... http://do-itmolds.com/shop/ind..._9_50

just like the biffle hardhead, one eyelet for the line to tie to and one where the hook is. But if there isn't a mold like that then I would like to do what you did.

My take on these if the link works http://www.Flickr.com/photos/6...70901

This is a head I built a mold for and wanted to try some eyes. I also use my favorite creature hooks.

mike i dont see how those will impart the action of a (biffle head)

with the 90 degree ties the biffle head works the lure up and down and the creature will swim in 4 directions

    Re: Biffle Hardhead??? (gambler4)

When you tie to the split ring, Both the hook and the weight are free to move independently. Also falls strait down as the weight hangs strait down and pulls without a pendulum effect.

Works great. Plus you can change the weight size, hook sizes and styles. Unlike the biffle head. I also like how my weight tucks under the bait when pulling/dragging looking more like the action of a live craw tail and provides the bait with more lift. Nothing wrong with the biffle head.... Also nothing wrong with making something good even better to my preference.

BTW... The weight "clicks" on the hook when dragged on the bottom..

the jeka style rig will outdo the biffle hardhead hands down it keeps the weight below the bait and it comes thru rocks so much better. I modified a football shakey head mold to make hardheads but I dont see the purpose after using the jeka method look up jeka rig on youtube it will enlighten you
