I got another chance to paint some more of Marty Burns balsa baits. He does some very clean work on the bait building!! Marty asked if I would paint a few bright colors on a few of them, I said sure will bud. Here are the baits Marty sent to me to paint:

Some exceptional paint work there Patrick, beautiful colors. To the guys who have not tried BigM's baits I will tell you, although they look great painted they will outfish most baits with just their sealcoat.
I like them all but that little flat sided threadfin
really catches my eye.

I added a touch of blue highlite across the shoulders of the last couple of threadfin shads. Our Tenn Tom Waterway has both Threadfins and Gizzard Shad in it. The last shad I snagged, I looked it over real good and noticed the blue highlites on the shoulders of the shad. Just thought I would give it a try to see how they do. Had a great time painting them up!! Thanks again bud!!
