Micro tip top guide?

Can you replace a standard tip top guide with a Micro guide top with out changing out all the guides to Micro's? Will it work fine or cause casting problems? Thanks for any help guys

It wouldn't look right and probably wouldn't cast as well. There would definitely not be any benefit from it. Why not just replace it with the same size?

It will function just fine, but its going to look really weird. I'd just pop on a regular sized top unless your in a pinch.

You can but it's not going to do anything much besides having a smaller profile which could take less beating going in and out of rod lockers and also a tiny bit less weight on the tip.
