I have an older version smart craft on a 02 200 opti. When I shut the engine off I get an engine and bell icon. Nothing while I'm running and no audible horns. Only when I turn off the egine and no beeps. I know the horn works when I first turn the key I get the beep. Computer shows nothing. I did have a thermostat stick open but no alarms. Noticed that my water temp was not right. Can this just be a glitch? Can I do a master reset and see if it will go away?

You can unplug the unit "overnight".... reconnect and do a "Master Reset".
Keep in mind... a sticking thermostat CAN AND WILL cause a "Thermostat fault" (which will display as a bell and engine icon, indicating a fault has occurred).
When checking for faults that have "occurred- but are not currently active".... (utilizing the Computer Diagnostic System or a DDT), you must look at the "Freeze Frame (Fault) History" to see them.
