    I was not successfull with making bristle fins for the ms slammer...

    So I made some clacker tails, painted and epoxied them. They have some transparency to them. I might make some more from lexan.

    Mike, I think the tails look great, love that black look. I think you have a critic on the BBC. and it's YOU... your work is on par with anyone on this site and others.

    Those look good.

    You might try cutting up an old rubber overshoe and using it to make tails. The rubber is thick (1/8"), and very durable. Plus they're flexible, although not as soft as soft plastic.
