Yep, I do not understand the infatuation with some with seeing shitty teams playing the big dogs. I guess the upside is more football but some of these top teams from crap conferences will get demolished more often than not by the big dogs. Look at what happened to Cincy when they got a whiff.

With 12 teams in teams like BAMA, Notre Dame, Ohio, etc are going to be in there every year even if they have a loss or possibly 2. The regular season will lose it's importance.

Sure, the lower conferences will take their lumps, but they will win a few too.

Having a true playoff hasn’t hurt the NFL regular season.

Furthermore, the 12 team playoff helps every school except Alabama, Georgia, OSU, Michigan and Clemson.

Now kids can actually go to the school they want to and still have a hope of making the playoffs.

I do not think that is how it works. Many of those top twelve teams will be replaced by teams from shitty conferences.

Either way the next 2 highest ranked conference champs will most likely be Texas and Tulane unless someone gets upset...who Ironically according to some forecasts are going to be playing each other in the fiesta bowl. Still not understanding how this is ruining college football. I hear ppl say "it ruins the reg season", "it ruins bowls", "teams will get blown out"....explain how, and how is it different than teams getting blown out now?

Wins against Georgia, Florida, Auburn & Baylor.

I've said it before...I believe we will end up with 2 leagues and divisions within, play-offs similar to the NFL and yes some junk reg season games...like there are now.

Another plus for a 12 team playoff is we will get 11 games that people care about.

Let’s face it other than the New Years 6 no one cares about the Bowl Games.

Out side of the 3 playoff games top players sit out to prepare for the draft or portal

I dont think most real Bammers care...the bandwagon fans might...the ones of us that have always been here know better...what the expanded playoff will do is put emphasis on games that havent seen it in a long long time...just like the semi finals have seen the last several years now those play in games are gonna have meaning and teams better be prepared for em...
